Drop-in pottery classes are 1.5-hour guided experiences designed for beginners and casual makers. Each participant receives up to 3 pounds of clay and access to all tools and materials needed during class.
Finished Pieces
Participants may create multiple pieces within their clay allotment. Due to drying, firing, and glaze limitations, not every piece may successfully make it through the kiln process.
Glaze Selection
Participants will choose one glaze finish from the available studio glaze options for all pieces created during the session. Glazing is completed by studio staff after the class.
Because glazing is handled after the fact, participants understand:
- Exact glaze results vary
- Handmade pottery naturally contains variations
- Color, texture, and finish may differ from examples shown
Pickup Timeline
Finished work is generally available within 3–6 weeks depending on drying conditions and kiln schedules.
Participants will be contacted via email when work is ready for pickup.
Pickup Window
Finished work must be picked up within 30 days of notification unless prior arrangements have been made.
Work left beyond this timeframe may be donated, recycled, or discarded due to limited studio storage.
Shipping Policy
Shipping is available for out-of-town participants.
Shipping fees are collected separately upon completing the experience and are based on estimated finished weight and destination using Pirate Ship shipping rates.
While every effort is made to package work safely, Wolf Craft is not responsible for damage caused during shipping transit.
Pottery Risk & Liability
Ceramics is an inherently unpredictable process. Cracking, warping, glaze imperfections, and kiln breakage are a natural part of pottery.
While the studio takes every precaution possible, Wolf Craft cannot guarantee the survival or perfection of any individual piece.

About the Instructor
Leila Srouji
Ceramic Artist and Instructor
Leila Srouji is a ceramic artist based in Nevada County whose work centers on the quiet beauty and function of handmade pottery. Her path into clay began with a six-week wheel-throwing class shortly after graduating from the University of Cincinnati in 2017 with a degree in Communication. What began as a casual introduction quickly became a deep commitment to the craft. Immersing herself in studio life, Leila progressed from student to studio member and later Artist in Residence, developing a practice rooted in both traditional technique and everyday utility. In 2019 she founded Tierra Madera, Spanish for “earth and wood”, a name that reflects the elemental materials and natural rhythms that shape her work. Leila creates thoughtfully crafted vessels designed to elevate daily rituals pieces meant to be used, held, and lived with. She currently works from a small studio in Rough and Ready, California, where she continues to explore the relationship between form, function, and the grounding presence of clay.

By signing up for a class, you agree to these policies:
You may cancel a class for a full refund or class credit 14 days before the start date of the (first) class.
All scheduled classes and workshops start and end on time. Please be prompt in your arrival and departure, as we often have other classes starting after yours. Arriving 15 minutes late to a class counts as a no-show, and no make up class will be offered. Instructors are subject to change.
We reserve the right to cancel any class due to low enrollment or unforeseen conflicts. If a class is cancelled, we will do our best to reschedule the session. If you are unable to attend the rescheduled class, you will be issued a refund.
Please note that we may take photos during the workshop to use on social media. If you do wish to be photographed, please let the teacher know when you arrive.
Wolf Craft Collective, LLC or any person or persons acting on its behalf is released from liability for any bodily injuries sustained, or for loss or damage of any personal articles while on the premises or while participating in any activity sponsored by Wolf Craft Collective, LLC.
Gift cards can be applied toward all classes or Wolf Craft merchandise. Gift Cards can not be redeemed for cash. Gift Cards do not expire.
