Part Three of the Money Matters Series

The third session in the Money Matters for Makers series focuses on getting your financial house in order and setting yourself up for a smoother, more strategic year ahead. This class is designed to help artists and small business owners move into tax season feeling prepared, informed, and in control.

We’ll walk through a year-end bookkeeping review, what to clean up before handing things to your accountant, and how to prepare for tax filing without last-minute stress. We’ll also look ahead to 2026, discussing entity considerations and structural strategies that can support growth, protect your income, and align with how you want to work.

Topics include:

  • Year-end bookkeeping review and cleanup
  • What your tax preparer actually needs from you
  • Common mistakes to catch before filing
  • Planning ahead for 2026, including entity and structure considerations
  • Practical steps you can take now to make next year easier

This session is ideal for makers who want clarity around taxes and business structure, without jargon or overwhelm. Come with questions, leave with a clearer plan.

You don’t need to have joined the other sessions to attend this one.
