Workshop Description:
In this workshop, we will learn the fundamentals of weaving with flat reed on a wooden mold and explore introductory twill patterns. Participants will create a functional forager's basket designed for both beauty and utility, complete with a strap for easy carrying. These durable, versatile baskets will be ready to accompany you on your next adventure, whether gathering from the garden, exploring the forest, or collecting treasures along the way.

About the Instructor
Morgan Street
Artist, Builder and Educator
Morgan Street is a California-based artist, builder, educator, project manager and program director. Embracing overlapping mediums and disciplines, Morgan makes objects and experiences that reference traditional craft methods, natural landscapes and textures, personal agency, memories of escape, and a reverence for the mysteries of the natural world. Much of her work is inspired by and manifested in very remote settings. Currently living and working in Grass Valley, CA, Morgan balances her studio practice alongside developing and directing a range of creative programs for youth and adults.

You may cancel a class for a full refund or class credit 14 days before the start date of the class.
All scheduled classes and workshops start and end on time. Please be prompt in your arrival and departure, as we often have other classes starting after yours. Arriving 15 minutes late to a class counts as a no-show, and no make up class will be offered. Instructors are subject to change.
We reserve the right to cancel any class due to low enrollment or unforeseen conflicts. If a class is cancelled, we will do our best to reschedule the session. If you are unable to attend the rescheduled class, you will be issued a refund.
Please note that we may take photos during the workshop to use on social media. If you do wish to be photographed, please let the teacher know when you arrive.

There is a metered parking lot very close to the Tinnery, please ensure you have coins to pay the meter, as it does not accept cards.
Gift cards can be applied toward all classes or Wolf Craft merchandise. Gift Cards can not be redeemed for cash. Gift Cards do not expire.
