Workshop Description:
Binding your own books is a fun, challenging, and addictive adventure and it all starts with a few fundamental skills: cutting, folding, covering, and sewing. Join artist e bond in this intimate class setting to learn & practice basic bookbinding skills while making actual books. Together we will make 3 blank book forms: a star book, a simple accordion, and a hand-sewn journal with signatures (all made by you!).
The workshop + materials fee will include: all the paper, glue, book board, and sewing materials you’ll need to make three forms plus you will receive a small kit of tools + instructions you can take with you. You are also encouraged to bring any additional decorated paper from your own stash to use for book covers as well.
